Jessica Van Fleet's Obituary
Jessica Van Fleet, age 34, of Corydon, passed away at her home on July 23, 2019. Jessica Lynn Van Fleet was born on March 25, 1985 to Albert and Charlotte (Davis) Van Fleet in Corydon. Jessica attended Corydon schools and graduated from Wayne Community High School with the Class of 2003. Jessica loved being around people and loved to laugh; her laugh and her cheerful smile were contagious. She liked to see people happy and loved to celebrate others successes. She was a good friend, a loyal friend, one you could always count on and one that was always willing to help others. She liked playing cards and other games, camping, cooking, and watching movies. But above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family; they were the most important people in her life. Survivors include her parents, Albert and Charlotte Van Fleet, brother, Zack Van Fleet (Michelle), sisters: Becki Nichols (Chris), and Tralisa Van Fleet, nieces: Cadence Shields, Bailey Nichols (Jared), Shaye Nichols, Miranda Harlow, and Layla Johnson, nephews: Blake Wyatt, Kieren Nichols, Dillon Harlow, and Carter Scanlon, grandparents, Richard and Jessie Davis, several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Roland and Verda Van Fleet. Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 26, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Thomas Funeral Home in Corydon. Interment will take place immediately following the service at Corydon Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. on Friday at Thomas Funeral Home.
