Jerrold Dean Babb, "'s Obituary
Jerrold "Jerry" Dean Babb, age 60, of Centerville, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2024 at MercyOne Medical Center in Des Moines.
Jerry was born on August 6, 1963 in Zion, Illinois, the son of James Louis Babb Sr. and Caroline Jean (Reed) Babb. He was united in marriage to Rebecca Ann Heartley, and to this union, a son was born, Chris.
When Jerry wasn't at work, he enjoyed fishing, bowling, playing cards and hanging out with friends.
Left to honor Jerry's memory are his wife, Becky Babb; his son, Chris Babb; his grandchildren, Nolyn Simkoff, Zoie Simkoff, Landon Newcomer and Alex Newcomer; his great granddaughter, Everley; his brother, Jim Babb; his sister, Janie Wood (Bill Brink); as well as several extended family and friends.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, James and Jean Babb; his sister, Jeanine Shiltz and his brother, Jeff Babb.
Per wishes, cremation has taken place. There are no scheduled services at this time.
