JEROLYN ANN (WHITMORE) GREEN Jerolyn Ann (Whitmore) Green, a life long resident of Wayne County, Iowa passed away November 23, 2010 at the Wayne County Hospital in Corydon, Iowa. Jerolyn Ann Whitmore, daughter of Bryon Erwood and Hilda Evelyn (Haines) Whitmore, was born February 19, 1932 in Seymour, Iowa. She attended Seymour Community High School. On October 26, 1949, Jerolyn married Jennings Shelley Green in Seymour, Iowa. They lived most of their married lives on the family farm north of Promise City, Iowa. After Jennings' passing, she moved to the Corydon Nursing and Rehab Center in Corydon, Iowa. One of Jerolyn's favorite past times was crocheting afghans for various family members. The last afghan she made was for her granddaughter. Other favorites were watching the Hawkeyes play and eating chocolate ice cream. When she was younger, she was a member of the GEG club. Jerolyn is survived by her daughter Judy Green of Unionville, Missouri, son Jeffrey (Sandra) Green of Promise City, Iowa, son Joseph Green of Columbia, Missouri, granddaughter Jennifer Green of Unionville, Missouri, sister Ramona Jean Ray of East Moline, Illinois, and sister Carla Sue (William) Buckallew of Buckner, Missouri.
