Jennifer Lynnaja Campbell's Obituary
Jennifer Lynnaja (Mall) Campbell, age 39 of Centerville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at MercyOne Medical Center in Centerville, surrounded by loved ones, after a long, hard battle with Cancer.
Jennifer was born on March 26, 1986 in Hampton, Iowa, the daughter of Jerome and Julie (Carlson) Mall. The family lived in Hampton until she was 3 before moving to Centerville. When Jennifer was in 5th grade, they moved to Durant. The following year, they moved to Wilton, staying until she was 16 years old, and the family moved back to Centerville. She graduated from Centerville High School with the Class of 2006. She was united in marriage to Bradley Campbell. To this union, three children were born, Gerald, JoAnna, and Genivieve. The couple later divorced.
Jennifer cherished being a full-time mom. She enjoyed family camping, spending time with her kids, working in her yard, especially her flower garden, and her cats. She was extremely fond of arts and crafts, making her own business, Homemade Crafts by Jen. She would take them to craft fairs and sell them online to people. She was also a lifelong fan of the band, The Beatles.
Jennifer loved life, always finding positivity to whatever endeavor she or her friends and family faced. She would take her shirt off her back for someone in need, and made friends with ease. Jennifer was an all-around amazing woman, who is now in Heaven looking down on all of her loved ones.
Left to cherish Jennifer's memory are her parents, Jerome and Julie Mall; her children, Gerald Campbell, JoAnna Campbell, and Genevieve Campbell; her siblings, Jon Mall and Justin (Sammi) Mall; as well as several extended family members and friends.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her infant sister, JoAnna Mall; her grandparents, John & Lorraine Mall and Gerald & Janet Carlson; her sister-in-law, Nicole Mall; her uncle, Jeffery Mall and her aunt, Gloria Fagerlund.
Visitation will take place Thursday, May 8, 2025 at Thomas Funeral Home in Centerville, with the family greeting friends from 5:00-7:00PM. An additional Visitation will take place Friday, May 9, 2025 at the First Baptist Church in Centerville from 9:30AM-10:00AM, with the Funeral services for Jennifer will be held at 10:00AM, Friday, May 9, 2025 at with Tony Alexander officiating. Burial will follow the service at Oakland Cemetery in Centerville.
