I met Jeannie my first day at Iowa State University in the fall of 1963. She roomed with her Cambria Corydon classmate, Adrienne Thomas. We worked our tails off, but we giggled and laughed our way through this new time in our life. From the photo, I can tell that she always, always had a wonderful smile. Rest in peace, Jeannie.
Yesterday, my son, Scott told me about this.It was sad seeing it online.. Jean was such a nice lady, so friendly and always smiling. She will be missed. Her family and friends will feel a large void. So sorry to hear of this sad news. If she was suffering, we can't wish for her back, but it is so hard to lose a loved one. I have only had a few times that i was around Jean, but I knew she was a wonderful person. Most of all I know that she has been a great mother. Her son, Charles is a sign of her love for her faily. We are so proud of Charles and his accoplishments. I am also so glad he was able to spend so much time with her these last years.
