Jean Bitner's Obituary
Evelyn Jean Bitner, age 76 of Centerville, Iowa passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center in Centerville.
Jean was born March 6, 1935 at Dean, Iowa the daughter of Aaron Jeff Forsythe and Ruby Ellnora Tracy Forsythe. She worked for both Centerville Nursing and Rehab and the Golden Age Care Center. She was a collector and like clipping pictures. She liked to read her Bible. She was a member of the Solid Rock Church of God, Centerville.
She is survived by her husband Marvin of Centerville three children Nancy (Duane) Akers of Albia, Mary (Steven Sr.) Terrell of Eldon, IA, Kathy (Mike Yardley) Domer of Ottumwa, IA; 5 grandchildren Jennifer (Roger) Davis of Albia, Adam Akers of Albia, Steven Jr, Terrell of Wilkinson, WA, Melissa Crawford and Michael (Heather) Domer of Cedar Rapids, IA; 4 great grandchildren Colin Crawford, Quentin Crawford, Carson Domer, Grace Domer; two sisters Betty Albright of Wellman, IA, and Kathleen Horn of Centerville.
She was preceded in death by a her parents; a sister Naomi Sleeth, brothers Lester Bernard Forsythe and Aaron Jeff Forsythe.
Funeral services will be held 1:30PM Saturday afternoon May 21, 2011 at the Solid Rock Church of God in Centerville with Pastor Kris Wattelet. Friends may call all day Friday with the family present from 6-8PM at the Lange Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Sunset View Cemetery, Moulton, Iowa. A Memorial has been established to the Solid Rock Church of God, Centerville or Mercy Hospice and may be left or mailed to Lange Funeral Home, 1900 South 18th St, Centerville, Iowa
