Jayne Carole Ann Reynolds' Obituary
Jayne Carole Ann Reynolds departed this physical world on April 24, 2018, at the age of 63. She will live on in our hearts, and we will forever remember her infectious laugh and sweet smile.
Jayne was born on February 14, 1955 in Dubuque, Iowa, the daughter of George and Rose (Manders) Schmitt. She graduated from Dubuque Walhert Catholic High School.
Jayne worked for St. Joseph's Hospital for several years in Medical Records. Later, she was employed through Rathbun Regional Water Association as an Administrative Assistant.
There was nothing Jayne liked better than an interesting conversation with a good (or new) friend. Jayne could have an engaging conversation with anyone. She enjoyed laughing with family and friends, and spending time with her family, and her grandchildren. She was fond of camping, fishing, and enjoying 'Retail Therapy'. She was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Centerville.
Left to cherish Jayne's memory, are her husband of 41 years, Tom Reynolds; her children, Josh (Kristi) Reynolds and Erin (Jason) Reed; three grandchildren, Nile Reynolds, Maizy Reed, and Nolan Reynolds; four siblings, Richard (Patricia) Schmitt, Kathy (Gary) Sisler, Marc (Deanne) Schmitt and June (Pat) Hancock; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends, whom will all hold her dearly in their hearts.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Rose Schmitt; a brother, Gary Schmitt and a sister-in-law, Judy Schmitt.
If you would like to pay her your respects and wish her a final goodbye, please attend her Mass of Christian Burial service at 11AM, Monday, April 30, 2018 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Centerville with Father Bill Hubmann officiating. Burial will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Dubuque at a later date. A visitation will take place Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Lange Funeral Home in Centerville with family greeting friends from 1-4PM. Memorials have been established to the Grandchildren's Education Fund and may be mailed to Lange Funeral Home and Crematory, 1900 South 18th Street, Centerville, Iowa 52544.
