Janis Sue Ann Clark's Obituary
Janis Sue Ann Clark, age 74, of Mystic, passed away Saturday, November 8, 2025 at her home.
Janis was born on February 16, 1951 in Centerville, Iowa, the daughter of James Clark Sr. and Virginia (Clemons) Clark.
Janis took pride in taking care of her home and her extended family. She was always the “Mother” of the group, taking charge of whatever she could. In her free time, she canned produce for the winter, enjoyed reading books and going to rummage sales with her mom and sisters. Janis was also fond of animals, especially cats. She even crocheted hundreds of stuffed animals over the years.
Those left to cherish Janis’ memory are her brother, John (Leota) Clark; as well as several extended family members and friends.
Janis was preceded in death by her parents, Virginia and James Clark Sr.; and her siblings, James Clark Jr., Debby Herr, and Madge Clark.
Per Janis’ wishes, cremation has been accorded and there will be no services at this time. Burial will be held at Dale Cemetery, north of Centerville.
