I had the honor of visiting Janice at Golden Age Care Center as part of HCI Hospice. She was always a bright spot in my day. She was the most upbeat person I have ever met, always positive about how she felt, always positive about the staff, always positive about her family and friends. We often prayed the rosary together - she never forgot the payers and was always comforted by them. The Friday before she passed away, I asked her if she wanted me to read from Sacred Scripture and she said yes. So I read Chapter 20 of the Gospel of John and then I prayed the Glorious Mysteries of the Rosary while she listened. I was so touched to hear that she passed away on Ascension Thursday; a very holy day for a very holy woman. May she rest in Peace.
