Janet Marie Martin's Obituary
Janet Marie Martin, 82, of Unionville, MO passed away at Boone Hospital in Columbia, MO on August 31st, 2025.
Janet Martin was born on April 3rd, 1943 in Moline, IL, the daughter of Dean and Ann Marguerite (Riva) Freeman. She graduated from Moline High School before making her way to Putnam County, MO.
Janet is survived by her 3 children; twin daughters, Lynn Johnson of East Moline, IL; Lisa Francis of Alpha, IL; and son, Geoffrey Crosby and wife Shelley of Auxvasse, MO. Janet's surviving grandchildren are Jessica Fulton and husband Derek; Ashley Brumley and husband Joe; and Ethan Francis and wife Shelby. Her great grandchildren are Brady Fulton, Bo Fulton, and Brayden Brumley. Janet is also survived by a sister, Donna Bockhouse of Carbon Cliff, IL.
In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her husband, Robert (Bob) Martin in 2002.
Her creativity and attention to detail helped her enjoy crafts, cake decorating and flower gardening. She was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed quilting, crocheting and knitting.
