Janet L. Dunham's Obituary
Janet Dunham, age 67, of Centerville, Iowa, died Monday, May 26, 2014, at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. She was born the daughter of Johnnie and Gwyneth (Miller) Showers on August 6, 1946 in Chariton, Iowa. She graduated from the Centerville High School in 1964In 1964, Janet was united in marriage to Ronnie Milburn, and later they were divorced, then on July 21, 1979, she was united in marriage to Freddie 'Dean' Dunham in Centerville. She was a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her family whether it was going fishing, doing craft or just spending time with her grandchildren.She is preceded in death by: her father, Johnnie Showers and her husband, Freddie 'Dean' Dunham on February 14, 1995.Janet is survived by: her mother, Gwyneth Long of Centerville, Iowa; a son, Michael Milburn of Centerville, Iowa; a daughter, Melissa Davis and her husband, Brennan of Seymour, Iowa; sisters, Iona Simatovich of Newton, Iowa and Judy Belzer of Mystic, Iowa; grandchildren, Cody Milburn, Jessica Milburn and Kaylee Davis.Graveside services will be held at 10 am, Saturday, May 31, 2014 at the Highland Cemetery west of Mystic, Iowa with Gene Behrens. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30, 2014 from 2 pm until 8 pm at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville with the family present from 6 pm until 8 pm.
