James Young's Obituary
James "Jim" Young, 83, of Moulton, passed away on February 21, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Jim was born on June 28, 1934 in Bigsby, Montana to the late Delma Young. After completing high school in Montana, Jim moved to Marshalltown where he married Linda Kutter and to this union, five sons were born. The pair later divorced and thereafter, Linda passed away. Later, he married Barbara Russell and the two welcomed a daughter. He also helped to raise another daughter for over 15 years. Jim worked as a truck driver for several years before retirement and in his spare time he enjoyed tinkering with lawn mowers and cars and spending time with his family and friends. Jim is survived by his children: Mike (Dana) Young, Alan Young, Scott (Joyce) Young, Randy (Brenda) Young, Brian (Linda) Young, Gerri Ann Young and Angela (Judd) Nelson. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild as well as his significant other, Linda Wymer and numerous extended family members. A Celebration of Life service will be held from 1:00-4:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at the Crosslines Center in Moulton.
