James Patrick Rollman's Obituary
James 'Jim' Rollman, age 59, of Melrose, Iowa, died Monday, February 15, 2016, at Wayne County Hospital in Corydon, Iowa. He was born the son of John and Ellen (Foley) Rollman on August 27, 1956 in Humphrey, Nebraska. He graduated from Humphrey High School and later attended Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska.On August 26, 2006, Jim was united in marriage to Carol Wray in Confidence, Iowa. He owned a Popup Blind business for many years and also ran a mower for Alliant Energy.He was preceded in death by: his parents; his brother, Tom Rollman; brother-in-law, Larry 'Tiny' Cormeny; and his mother-in-law, Gail Wray.Jim is survived by: his wife, Carol Rollman of Melrose, Iowa; his brothers, Wilfred Rollman of Boston, Massachusetts and Tim Rollman of Humphrey, Nebraska; sisters, Eloise Seward, Mary Alice McGuire and Kate Sorentino all of Omaha, Nebraska, Margaret Dennis of Covington, Louisiana and Julie Rollman of Humphrey, Nebraska; father-in-law, Ivan Wray and his wife, Cindy of Moravia, Iowa; sisters-in-laws, Charolotte Wray of Des Moines, Iowa, Carla Cormeny of Moravia, Iowa, Cheryl Wray of Sacramento, California and Chris Utterback of Sigourney, Iowa; brother-in-law, Chad Wray of Belton, Missouri; along with many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 am, Saturday, February 20, 2016 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Fr. Bill Hubmann officiating. Burial to follow at the Brushy Cemetery near Russell, Iowa. Visitation will be held from 2 pm until 8 pm Friday, February 19, 2016 at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville with the family present from 6 pm until 8 pm at the funeral home.
