My prayers are with Jim's wife and family. I worked with Jim at Mid State's Bank in Omaha, NE many years ago. I was new in banking and he never seemed to smile a whole lot, if at all, until one day I brought some of my grandmothers kolache's. Everyday after that he would smile, (kinda) and ask me when's grandma going to make more of them there kolaches He and my husband Craig (Miller) became great friends. Endless hunting trips. I would bake something, always for Jim of course. Craig had strict instructions not to open anything until Jim got them first. To this day, when I see Craig, he still gives me a little guff over that. But always says, That's OK, if it was anyone else but Jim, I might still be mad. LOL He's the one who called me and gave me the news. I am truly sorry for your loss. Jim was a really great person. May God give you peace in your time of sorry. Sincerely; Lori A.
