Sharon, I think I went to AIB with you back in the late '60s. I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my own Mom a few years ago (at 92 years old). How blessed we are to have them with us for so long! I will always remember Mrs. Gruwell with such love for the kindness she showed to our family and for the very important part she played in our lives when my brothers, sisters and I were growing up. My thoughts and prayers are with you and for you. I am so blessed to have known Isabelle as an adopted Nana. My life has been impacted and blessed to have known her and the entire Gruwell family. I treasure the memories of listening to gospel music together, sharing a meal, worshipping together, and of course, never being allowed to leave your home until I played a song on the piano. Even in the valley of the shadow of death God is a comfort, and my prayer is that your hearts will be filled with that comfort as you reflect on the many special memories of someone so special.
