Irene Tortat's Obituary
Irene Helen Tortat, 87 of Centerville passed away Friday, November 2, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center in Centerville. Irene was born on August 5, 1931 in Newton, Iowa. She received her education from Oskaloosa High School in 1947 and continued her education at Iowa School of Beauty in Ottumwa. Irene enjoyed time spent with her family, quilting, crocheting, sewing and playing with her cats. She was a member of Remnant Church Ministries in Centerville. Survivors include her daughters: Norma Pearson (Lloyd), Nancy Stevens (Jim), Susan Moore, Charlene Fisher (Jim), many grandkids and great grandkids and a special companion. She was preceded in death by her husband Julius Tortat, daughter, Sherry Ingalls, grandson, Isaac Fisher and parents; Raymond & Ursul (Clark) Clayworth. Graveside service will be 2:30 p.m., Monday, November 5, 2018 at Haines Cemetery in Centerville.
