Ingrid Williamson's Obituary
Ingrid Muller Williamson, daughter of Christian Johann and Johanna Elisabeth Christina 'Christel' Muller, was born April 4, 1942 in Krefeld, Germany. After her schooling, Ingrid was a "secretary" to the president of a large commercial builder, Krupp- Dolberg doing cost estimation of buildings and bridges. Ingrid met Junior Williamson during his military time in Germany. They dated, traveled extensively around Europe, got engaged and Ingrid moved to the United States in early 1962. After marriage on April 6, 1962, they lived in Wayne County where they raised three girls, cattle, hogs and row crop farmed. They enjoyed neighborhood card parties, boating and water skiing at Lake Rathbun and attending the activities of the kids. Later after retiring, they moved to Humeston, spending a couple of winters in Texas. After Junior's passing in 2009, Ingrid obsessively cared for her house, yard and garden in Humeston, sharing its bounty with family. She liked attending events from grandkids and great grandkids as well as being in the Cambria Garden Club. Ingrid was a role model working hard and teaching her girls a multitude of skills.
Ingrid was preceded in death by her husband, parents, her sister and husband, her sister-in-law's husband and her in-laws.
She is survived by daughters Carla and husband, Marty Green, Patty and husband, Michael Kamp, Rita and husband Mark Hansen. Also survived by her 6 grandchildren and their spouses: Jeremy Davis and Tonya, Melissa and Clayton Dyer, Jason Boggs and Tricia, Christel and Jordan Stuve, Renae and Wyatt Dale and William Hansen.
