Inez F. Shinn's Obituary
Inez F. Shinn, age 89 of Centerville, passed away Sunday, November 15, 2020 at Centerville Specialty Care.
Inez was born on May 12, 1931, the daughter of Eldress and Goldie (Garr) Shinn.
Inez cherished her family, and enjoyed family dinners. She had a very sharp memory, and could name off all of her family, including all of their names and their extended family members.
Inez loved wearing jewelry, coloring and stuffed animals. She also attended the First Baptist Church in Centerville for several years.
Left to cherish Inezs memory is a sister, Geraldine Smith of Davenport, Iowa; a brother, Frank (Ellie) Shinn of Davenport, Iowa; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Inez was preceded in death by her parents, Eldress and Goldie Shinn; and eight siblings, Orville, Floyd, Lloyd, Irene, Mary, Goldene, Benjamin and Lucille.
Cremation has been accorded. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Memorials have been established to Centerville Community Betterment, Inc., and may be mailed to Lange Funeral Home and Crematory, C/O Shinn family, 1900 South 18th Street, Centerville, Iowa 52544.
