Howard Wesley Evitt's Obituary
Howard Evitt, 90, of Corydon, passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Corydon Specialty Care in Corydon, Iowa.

Howard lived his whole life in the neighborhood where he was born, in Wayne County, Benton Township, except for the 4 years when he served in the U.S. Navy in Virginia and North Carolina. He went to church every single Sunday without fail, and was always involved in church activities. Howard and Evelyn were faithful members of the New Zion Church. He taught Sunday school for many years and made many lifelong friends.
Howard loved his horses and going on trail rides, hosting the St. Jude's Children's trail ride, farming, and his livestock, which included his cattle, horses, hogs, sheep, cats, and dogs. He also enjoyed when his family would all get together back at the cabin.
Howard is survived by his brother, R.D.
