Hope "Faith" Lyn Engle's Obituary
Hope "Faith" Lyn Engle, age 84, of Centerville, passed away Friday, September 8, 2023 at Golden Age Care Center in Centerville.
Faith was born on July 8, 1939 in Centerville, Iowa, the daughter of William and Lou (Robinson) Seals. In 1980, she was united in marriage to Delbert Engle.
Faith was a secretary for many years, but her favorite job in life was being a mother and grandmother.
Left to cherish Faith's memory are her children, Cindy (Richard) Putman, Penny Butcher, Russell Richardson, Kathy (Larry) Pennington, and Carla (Robert Jr.) Schippers; her sister-in-law, Louise Seals; as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and extended family members.
Faith was preceded in death by her parents, William and Lou Seals; her husband, Delbert Engle; her granddaughter, Ginny Wilmont Kelly; her great granddaughter, Hailey Lewis; her sisters, Shirley Bills and Iris Smith; and her brothers, Cela Seals and Ora Seals.
Per wishes, cremation has been accorded. Private services will be held. Burial will take place at Haines Cemetery, north of Centerville at a later date.
