Helen Margarette Perry, age 81, of Centerville, IA, died Wednesday, December 17, 2003, at the Mercy Medical Center in Centerville, IA. She was born the daughter of Wilbur C. and Goldie F. (Stevens) McGuire on May 25, 1922, in Centerville, Iowa. She received her education in the Centerville Community Schools.She was united in marriage to Wayne C. Perry on June 28, 1941 at Unionville, Missouri. She worked as an Orderly in the Lutheran Hospital in Moline, IL and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Rock Island, IL.Helen was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Wayne C. Perry on April 23, 1995; two brothers, Clarence and Russell McGuire and two sisters, Thelma Farnsworth and Dorothy Miller.Surviving family members include: her son, Rob Perry and his wife, Kathy of Centerville, IA; two grandchildren, Erin and Robbie Perry of Centerville, IA and two sisters, Bea Johnson of Burlington, IA and Marge Johnson of Rock Island, IL. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 21, 2003 at 1:00 pm at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville, IA with Pastor Kristopher J. Wattelet officiating.
