Helen Loretta Davis' Obituary
Helen Loretta Davis of Glendale, Arizona passed away peacefully with her husband and son at her side at Dignity Health Hospital in Mesa, Arizona on January 15, 2023.
Helen was born November 10, 1939, in Moulton, Iowa to Arthur and Garnett Replogle. She married Jerry Melvin Davis on March 25, 1956 in Moulton, Iowa. Later they welcomed their son Jerry Dean Davis.
Helen and Jerry moved to Davenport, Iowa in 1957. She helped Jerry in his vending business until 1981, and started a daycare in Bluegrass, Iowa until she retired in 1993. Helen and Jerry then moved to Glendale, Arizona in 1995. She had a love for travel. She had been to almost all the states and even many places overseas. Helen also enjoyed being involved with the community. She started the Glendale neighborhood watch and ran it for 27 years along with being part of the local police precinct advisory board for 15 years.
Helen is survived by her husband, son Jerry Dean Davis; daughter-in-law, Susan; sisters-in-law, Joann Replogle, Grace Replogle, Mary Davis, and Lana Davis; a brother-in-law, Charles McGoldrick; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Helen is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Garnet Replogle; brothers, Jim and Keith Replogle; and a sister, Della Jane McGoldrick.
Graveside services will be held at 11AM, Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Sunset View Cemetery in Moulton, Iowa.
