Heather Nichole Wright's Obituary
Heather Nichole Wright, age 45, of Udell, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at MercyOne Medical Center in Des Moines surrounded by loved ones.
Heather was born on November 11, 1979 in Centerville, Iowa, the daughter of David and Marie Annette (Baze) Tubbs. She graduated from Centerville High School with the Class of 1998. On September 7, 2020, Heather married the love of her life, Blayne Wright.
Following high school, Heather worked at Alliant Energy for 27 years, earning an award after 25 years of service. She was very close to and loved working with her Alliant Energy family. In her free time, she enjoyed shopping, going to the lake, helping on the farm, riding the side by side and playing with her dogs. Anyone that had the opportunity to know Heather, loved her for not only her infectious personality, but also her smile and her huge heart.
Left to cherish Heather's memory are her husband, Blayne Wright; her father, David Tubbs; her brother, Jeromy (Amy) Tubbs; her niece, Alyssa (Saben) Goodson; her in-laws, Susan (Danny) Redding; her sister-in-law, Dusty Hatfield (Nick); a nephew, Lane Hatfield (Maddi); her nieces, Abby Hatfield (Davin) and Emmy Bills; her great niece and nephews, Alivia Underwood, Slater Underwood and Owen Hatfield; as well as numerous extended family members and friends.
Heather was preceded in death by her mother, Annette Tubbs; and her grandparents, Dick and Prudy Baze and Esther and Carl Richards.
Funeral services for Heather will be held at 1:00PM, Monday, March 17, 2025 at Thomas Funeral Home in Centerville with Brian Hargrave officiating. Burial will follow the service at Fairview Cemetery in Unionville, Iowa. Visitation will take place Monday, March 17, 2025 with the family greeting friends from 11:00AM-1:00PM.
