Hazel Madge Horn's Obituary
Hazel 'Madge' Horn died on Tuesday, December 2, 2003 at Mercy Medical Center in Centerville, IA. She was born the daughter of Russell and Minnie (Gatewood) Burrows on September 10, 1910 near Floris, Iowa. She received her education in a rural Davis County Country School.Madge was united in marriage on November 9, 1935 to Raymond Leo Horn in Moulton, Iowa. She was a Homemaker and a member of the Hilltown Christian Church, Moulton Christian Church and the Willing Workers Club.She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Raymond Horn on July 7, 1975; brother, Charles Burrows; sister, Marie Eakins.Survivors are: her son, Bill and his wife, Judi Horn of Moulton, Iowa; sister, Ruth Pillcher of Ottumwa, Iowa; 2 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.Memorials services will be held on Friday, December 5, 2003 at 10:00 am at Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Moulton, IA. with Rev. Reg Higginbottom officiating. A private family burial will take place following the services. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 5, 2003 from 8:30 am till the time of services with the family present.
