Harold Lee Dudley's Obituary
Harold Dudley, 89 of Cincinnati passed away Sunday, November 28, 2021 at Mercy One - Centerville.
Harold was born to Robert & Eva (Zellers) Dudley in Cincinnati on September 25, 1932. On April 21, 1956, Harold was united in marriage to Donna Wendland. To this union came two children; Gail and Lori. Harold served his country in the United States Army Corps during the Korean War.
Harold was a life long farmer. He was employed as a rural mail carrier for the United States Postal Service for over 20 years delivering in Exline and Cincinnati. Harold enjoyed working on his farm, hunting and fishing. In his later years, he and Donna spent 13 years traveling the country, from Nova Scotia to McAllen, Texas. Harold was an excellent woodworker, sharing his talents with numerous people and places. He enjoyed teasing his grandchildren, his nieces and nephews. Harold was a member of First Christian Church in Cincinnati.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Donna Dudley, daughters: Gail Smith (Mark), Lori Kirkland (David), grandchildren: Damon Smith, Kacey Kirkland, Trent Kirkland (Amanda), great grandchildren: Jackson, Maddox and Eli Smith, also; Harrison and Evalyn Kirkland. He was also survived by his sister, Marjorie and brothers-in-law, Chuck Farris and Charles Wendland and numerous extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings: Russell Dudley and Norma Lewis.
Harold's body was cremated and no services are planned at this time. Memorials may be given to First Christian Church - Cincinnati and condolences may be shared at www.thomasfh.com
