Hailey Elizabeth Lewis' Obituary
Hailey Elizabeth Lewis, age 9, passed away at the Wayne County Hospital on Monday, November 28, 2016. Hailey was born to Russell and Misty Lewis (Hayden) on February 5, 2007 in Centerville. Hailey had one big sister Emma. Hailey loved all the Marvel Superheroes, she enjoyed watching Scooby-Doo, The Ninja Turtles and The Minions, and snuggling with her favorite pillow animals. Her favorite thing to watch with her family was the Iowa Hawkeyes. Hailey brought joy to everyone who knew her; she touched so many lives in her short time here. She was well known for her beautiful smile and her contagious giggles. Hailey also taught so many people that she encountered many lessons in life; lessons of courage, strength, and happiness just to name a few. She had a strong spirit and she conquered her challenges with the strength of ten men! Hailey is survived by her parents; Russell and Misty Lewis, sister; Emma, grandparents; Bobby and Michelle Hayden and Russell and Lori Lewis, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral service will be Friday, December 2, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Thomas-Randolph Funeral Home in Corydon. Visitation will be one hour prior to service from 9:30 am-10:30 am. Interment will be at the Highland Cemetery in Mystic. Memorials may be given to the family and condolences may be shared at www.thomasfh.com.
