Glenn Peel's Obituary
Glenn Peel, age 62, of Centerville, Iowa, died Thursday, April 12, 2007 at Mercy Medical Center in Centerville. He was born the son of Frank Marion and Katherine (Clemens) Peel on May 24, 1944 in Centerville. He received his education in the Centerville Community School.Glenn worked for a time at the local brickyard, drove truck for Harris Feed and Seed as well as working at the Army Corp of Engineers. He also spent over 18 years at Rubbermaid all here in Centerville. He was baptized at the First Baptist Church in Centerville.He was preceded in death by: his parents and a brother, Leonard Peel.Glenn is survived by: his brothers, Wayne and Laverne Peel both of Centerville, Iowa; sisters, Ruth Bernice Peel and Eloise Byte both of Centerville, Iowa; also several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 16, 2007 at 1:30 pm at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville with Rev. Kay Singley officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakland Cemetery in Centerville.Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 15, 2007 from 1 pm till 6 pm at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home with the family present from 4 pm till 6 pm.Memorials will be designated at a later date and can be left at the funeral home.
