Glen A. Morrow, 84 of Centerville passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at Golden Age Care Center in Centerville. Glen was born on July 31, 1923 to Sidney & Mamie (Allen) Morrow in Mendota, Missouri. He received his education from Exline High School. He married Doris Stansberry on December 31, 1948. Glen was a farmer and enjoyed attending stock shows, welding, storytelling and being a pilot. Glen is survived by his wife Doris of Centerville, three children; Donna Ursta (Bill) of Centerville, Roger Morrow (Lori) of Centerville, Natalie Morrow of Des Moines, four grandchildren; Jennifer Benz (Steve) of Udell, Joanna Johnson (Deric) of Centerville, Brad Morrow (Kelli) of Centerville, Wade Morrow of Pella, five great grandchildren; Lee Benz, Sam Benz, Bayleigh Johnson, Josey Morrow, Jason Morrow, sister, Grace Spurgeon of Centerville, brother, Lester Morrow of Centerville, sister, Mary Israel of Ames, sister, Letha Crawford of Centerville, brother, Jack Morrow (Betty) of Unionville, Missouri and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Claude Morrow, sister, Zepher Stansberry and sister, Betty Bogle. Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, July 19, 2008 at Thomas Funeral Home. Visitation will be 1ï¿ hours prior to the service from 9:00-10:30 a.m. Interment will be in Hilltown Cemetery near Moulton. Memorials may be given in his name to start a scholarship fund for the Indian Hills Community College Machine Tech.
