Bev and family, how sad to hear of Judd's passing. You had many wonderful years together, with such a great family. A memory I have of Judd is that he was an avid Yankees fan. I hardly ever met anyone who liked them (back in the 50's and 60's). However, after living in MN for over 40 years my allegiance has switched to the Twins. I remember telling this to Judd some years ago, feeling half guilty for being a traitor. He was always passionate about what he believed. Beverly, I do not know if you remember me from many years ago at M'town. I graduated in 58 and worked at Pursel-Davis with Jud. That was many years ago but I have many great memories of Jud. Family of Judd I worked with Judd at IVH in the late 70's. I had a lot of interaction with him on transports etc. He was a gem! He always brightened my day with his sardonic wit and laughter! Some people thought he was gruff but I thought he was a teddy bear! He reminded me of my own father. I am so sorry for your loss of a great man. Many prayers go out to you. I didn't know you were no longer in Marshalltown, every time I go by your house on Summit Street I think of you. To the Jud Eichorn Family, I have known Jud since I was a young boy. My dad - Lyle - cut Jud's hair for many years. I heard many officiating stories over the years.
