Gerald Dean Clemens, age 64, of Centerville, passed away Friday, May 4, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center in Centerville.
Dean was born on September 30, 1953 in Centerville, Iowa, the son of Richard Clemens and Irene Hodge-Harmon.
Dean is survived by his children, Angel Clemens of New Mexico, Ann (Kenneth Wireman Jr.) Brooks of Centerville, Gerald Dean Clemens Jr. of Centerville, Justin (Fiance, Sarah Lee Varala) of New Mexico, Jon Robertson of Iowa, and Jason Robertson of Iowa; his siblings, Dave Clemens of Centerville, Richard (Carol) Clemens of Centerville, and Carolyn Kay Baugh of Seymour; as well as several grandchildren.
Dean was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Irene; a sister, Ilene Buttz; and a sister-in-law, Lorrie Clemens.
Cremation has been accorded and there will be no services at this time. Lange Funeral Home and Crematory has been entrusted with caring for his family. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established to Gerald Dean Clemens Memorial, and may be mailed to Lange Funeral Home and Crematory, 1900 South 18th Street, Centerville, Iowa 52544.
