Dear Sally and Family, Gerald was and always will be a very special person in my life. He pointed me toward my first law enforcement job, and I was proud to serve with and for him at the Centerville Police Department. But even more important was Gerald, the man. He was fair, decent, and had a great sense of humor. Above all else, you and the kids came first (even though the demands of his job may have made it seem different at times).
