Georgetta Warnick, age 86, of Mystic, IA, died Friday, September 19, 2003, at Mercy Medical Center in Centerville, IA. She was born the daughter of George and Rhoda (Kenyon) Hunt on June 17, 1917 in Mystic, Iowa. She received her education in the Mystic Community Schools.Georgetta was united in marriage to Willis V. Warnick on August 29, 1936 in Unionville, Missouri. She was a homemaker. Georgetta was a member of the Mystic Christian Church, Mystic Flower Club, Mystic American Legion Auxiliary and the Highland Cemetery Association.She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Willis V. Warnick on May 22, 2001; great-grandson, Alex Warnick; three brothers, Addison Hunt, Arlo Hunt and Damon Hunt and one sister, Irviljo Enderle.Georgetta is survived by: one daughter, Noma Weidner and her husband, Wayne of Rockford, IL; four sons, Byron 'John' Warnick of Mystic, IA, George Warnick of Mystic, IA, Ray Warnick of Des Moines, IA and Grant Warnick of Mystic, IA; one sister, Twilah McVeigh of Mystic, IA; twelve grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.Funeral services wilkl be held on Monday, September 22, 2003 at 10:00 am at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville, Iowa with Walter King officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Cemetery in Mystic, IA.Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 21, 2003 from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Schmidt Family Funeral in Centerville, Iowa with the family present from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.Memorials contributions may be given to the Highland Cemetery Association, Mystic American Legion Auxiliary or First Responders and may be left at or mailed to the To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Georgetta Warnick please visit our Sympathy Store.
