Leona Bernice EatonAnd George W. EatonLeona Bernice Eaton, age 91 of Lemon Grove, California and a former, Mystic, Iowa resident, died on April 12, 2005 in Lemon Grove. Her husband, George W. Eaton, age 98, also of Lemon Grove, died on May 26, 2011 in Lemon Grove. Bernice was born on October 14, 1913 in Mystic, Iowa to Bill and Belle (Foster) Zimmer; and George W. Eaton was born in Centerville, Iowa, on March 22, 1913 the son of William Henry and Sadie (Gillis) Eaton. The couple moved to San Diego, California in 1936. They were know for growing beautiful orchids and gardens Bernice was preceded in death by: her parents; a daughter, Creta Belle Eaton; a sister, Leria Sweetman; and a brother, John Zimmer. George was preceded in death by: his parents; his wife, Bernice Eaton; a daughter, Creta Belle Eaton; sisters, Ruth, Ruby and Rissie; two brothers, William Albert Eaton and John W. Eaton. They are both survived by two children; a daughter, Diane and her husband, Ray Lieberenz and a son, Jerry Lee Eaton; four grandchildren and many great grandchildren Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at 2 pm at the Main Station Cemetery west of Moravia, Iowa, near Lake Rathbun with Rev.
