George David Boley's Obituary
George David Boley, age 57 of Centerville, Iowa and former resident of Des Moines, Iowa, died Monday, June 18, 2007 at Iowa Veterans Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. He was born the son of Albert and Leta (Rice) Boley on June 1, 1950 in Des Moines, Iowa. After graduation from High School, George attended college for two years. George served his country faithfully as a member of the United States Marine Corp during the Viet Nam Conflict from 1968 until his honorable discharge in 1972. George worked in many capacities during his short life, from working as a deputy sheriff in western Iowa to most recently, as a general laborer for Tracy Brothers Construction Company. He is remembered as a thoughtful man, who was always trying to do his best.He was preceded in death by: his parents, adopted father, Jack Fitch; son, Manny Bely; grandson, David Boley; brother, Albert Boley, Jr. and a sister, Mary Evelyn Kline.George is survived by: his daughter, Jeralyn Boley of Centerville, Iowa; sons, David Boley of Centerville, Iowa, Justin Boley of Des Moines, Iowa and Brandon Holkan of Des Moines, Iowa; brother, Ronnie Boley; sisters, Bonnie Stowell and Lea Lawrence all of Des Moines, Iowa, Punkin Falknor of Council Bluffs, Iowa and Connie Boley; grandchildren, Manny Boley, Amber Vulgamott, Chassidy Boley and Alexia Vulgamott.Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 22, 2007 at 11:00 am at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville, Iowa with Pastor Kristopher Wattelet officiating. Burial will follow at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Cincinnati, Iowa.
