Genevee Cook's Obituary
Genevee Cook, age 83, of Moulton, Iowa, died Wednesday, October 25, 2006, at Mercy Medical Center in Centerville, Iowa. She was born the daughter of Jesse H. and Vernie E. (Rhoades) Whitworth on December 21, 1922 in Worthington, Missouri. She received her education in a Worthington Community School.On April 19, 1946, Genevee was united in marriage to Pearl Cook in Bloomfield, Iowa. She was lived in Moulton for over 60 years and was a homemaker. She is a 44 year member of the Moulton American Legion Auxiliary and was a member of the Band Mothers and attended the Moulton Christian Church in Moulton.She was preceded in death by: her parents and a sister, Vivian Geneva Morgan.Genevee is survived by: her husband, Pearl Cook of Moulton, Iowa; son, Larry Cook and his wife, Coleen of Moulton, Iowa; daughter, Sandra Kay Foglesong of Des Moines, Iowa; sister, Vernie Valee McCartney of Moulton, Iowa; three grandchildren, six great grandchildren and three great, great grandchildren.Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 30, 2006 at 11 am at the Moulton Christian Church in Moulton, Iowa with Rev. Reg Higginbottom officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset View Cemetery north of Moulton.
