I have too many memories of Gary and Bert to share here....I spent many days golfing with both of them....and after Bert passed....with Gary. We especially loved watching Iowa Women's and Fever Basketball. He would pull up in the red truck...and my black lab would greet him as JR knew Gary gave him the "best" treats!!! My favorite memory is the fake snake he would put down by my side of the cart.....He loved that...and would laugh and laugh and laugh as I was doing gymnastics to get away! He adored Caitlin Clark...and followed her from College ball to the WNBA. I am extremely proud that he only beat me by 1 in last year's March Madness. Golf and Basketball will never be the same:( RIP Daddio!!!!!
