Gary Edward Ruchti's Obituary
Dr. Gary Edward Ruchti, of Moulton passed away at Ottumwa Regional Health Center Wednesday, November 2, 2022.
Gary was born on May 9, 1937 in Fennimore, Wisconsin to Wilburn & Gertrude (Brechler) Ruchti. He graduated from Fennimore High School in 1955 then went on to obtain his bachelors degree at the University of Wisconsin - Platteville. He would later receive his Master's degree from Mankato State University and his Doctorate of Educational/Clinical Counseling from Oklahoma State University.
Gary spent many years practicing as a psychologist in mental health clinics and AEAs throughout the Midwest. He enjoyed farming, tending to his Angus cows, quarter horses and his German Shepherds.
Survivors include his wife Rose Ruchti, children; Annette Tallard (Steve), Gary A. Ruchti (Jennifer), Heidi Snowbarger (Trent), Karl Ruchti (Claudia), Jakob Ruchti (Samia Harrington), 11 grandchildren, one great grandchild and numerous extended family. He is preceded in death by his parents.
A private family funeral service will be Monday, November 7, 2022 at Thomas Funeral Home in Moulton. Interment will immediately follow at Hoover Cemetery in Browning Missouri.
