Fred Seddon's Obituary
Fred Seddon, 65, of Centerville passed away, Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Fred was born to Willard Sr. & Luella (Roberts) Seddon on October 12, 1951 in Centerville. He received his education from Centerville Schools, graduating in 1971. On August 11, 1972, Fred was united in marriage to Linda Gorman in Centerville. To this union came two children: Misty and Rick. Fred was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also enjoyed playing BINGO and going to the casino. Fred was a handyman. He was always tinkering with motors, big or small. He also enjoyed western shows, especially Gunsmoke and playing his guitar. Of all things, Fred loved being with his family. Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Linda, two children: Misty Powers (Marty) of Centerville, Rick Seddon (Paula) of Centerville, six grand dogs, three siblings: Willard Seddon Jr. (Helen) of Mystic, Mike Seddon of Mystic and Cindy Admire (Jim) of Centerville as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Gravesides service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 27, 2017 at Highland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., Friday, May 26, 2017 at Thomas Funeral Home in Centerville. Memorials may be given to the family and condolences may be shared at www.thomasfh.com.
