Frank M. Eddy, age 48, of Centerville, Iowa, died Monday, March 14, 2005, as the result of injuries he received while at work at Sidles Top Crop in Centerville, Iowa. He was born the son of George and Mary Jean (Garr) Eddy on April 2, 1956 in Davenport, Iowa. He was a 1975 graduate of Centerville High School in Centerville, Iowa.On January 15, 1993, he was united in marriage to Judith Reinhart Gorden in Seymour, Iowa. He worked as a foreman at Sidles Top Crop in Centerville, Iowa. He was a member of the Gas Engine Club of Iowa-Missouri. Members of the gas engine community across the world would seek the advice of Frank for his expert knowledge of gas engines. Frank was also a member of the Midwest Old Thrashers Association in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa.Frank was preceded in death by: his paternal and maternal grandparents and a son, Daniel Eddy.He is survived by: his parents of Centerville, Iowa; his wife, Judith, of Centerville, Iowa; stepson Justin Gorden of Centerville, Iowa; stepdaughter Stephanie Gorden of Ames, Iowa; brothers Chris and James Eddy of Numa, Iowa and George Eddy of Centerville, Iowa.Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 18, 2005 at 1:30 P.M. at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville, Iowa with Pastor Kay Singley officiating. Burial will follow at the Numa Cemetery in Numa, Iowa.
