Frank Brown's Obituary
Frank Brown, age 49 of Centerville, died Friday, May 11, 2007 at Mercy Medical Center, Centerville.
Frank was born on September 6, 1957 in Albia, Iowa the son of Willard and Ethel (Phelps) Brown. He attended schools in Mystic and Des Moines. Following school Frank lived in various places including Ottumwa, Des Moines and What Cheer. He worked as a Caregiver in Ottumwa for a while. Frank enjoyed going for walks, watching wrestling, traveling with his brother and best friend Willie across the United States and giving time at the animal shelter in Ottumwa.
Frank is survived by his brothers Roger Brown of Jerome, Rollie Brown of Centerville, Anthony Davis and his wife Helen of Bloomfield and Willie Brown of Mystic along with his sister Jeannie Booth and her husband Bill of Centerville along with many nieces and nephews. Frank was preceded in death by his grandparents, his parents and his nephew Jeff Booth.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. at the Thomas Lange Funeral Home in Centerville with Pastor Diane Christopher officiating. Burial will follow at the Elgin Cemetery north of Mystic. Visitation will be held Tuesday with the family present one hour prior to the service. A memorial has been established to the family and may be left at or mailed to the Thomas Lange Funeral Home in Centerville.
