Frank J. Aiello's Obituary
Frank J. Aiello, age 79 of Centerville, Iowa passed away Thursday, September 11, 2008 at Golden Age Manor in Centerville.
Frank was born March 12, 1929, the son of Tom and Louise (Valentine) Aiello in Rathbun, Iowa. Frank hauled coal in the Coal Mines with his Uncle Lewis. Frank also worked with the Activity Center and at Second Time Around. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and singing. ""Frank was always willing to help out."" He was a member of the St. Frances Church in Mystic, Iowa.
Frank is survived by two brothers, Jim (Peggy) Aiello of Centerville, Iowa, Tom Aiello of Davenport, Iowa; several nieces and nephews, Linda (Fred) Seddon, Mary Lou (Fred) Stewart, John Aiello, Tammy (Dale) Walton, Michelle (Jeff) VanCleave, Scott Aiello, Jay Aiello, and Debbie Coons; and great nieces and great nephews, Misty (Marty) Powers, Rick Seddon, Jackie Walton, Brandi Coates, Minachela VanCleave, Blake Stewart, Keara Stewart, and Rylee VanCleave. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Mary Gorman, Tina Young, Margaret Aiello; a brother, John Aiello; one infant sister; and two infant brothers.
Funeral services will be held 10 AM Monday, September 15, 2008 at the Thomas Lange Funeral Home with Pastor Gerald Campbell officiating. Burial will follow at the Oakland Cemetery in Centerville. A visitation will begin Sunday at 2 PM with family present from 6-8 PM. A memorial has been established to the family and may be left at or mailed to the Thomas Lange Funeral Home, 1900 S. 18th St., Centerville, Iowa 52544.
