Francis "Frank" Starr's Obituary
Francis 'Frank' Starr, Sr. age 69, of Moulton, Iowa, died Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at his home in Moulton. He was born the son of Marvin and Gertrude (Burton) Starr on July 17, 1939 in Moulton. He received his education in the Moulton Community Schools and later the Adel, Iowa Community Schools.Frank served his country with the United States Air Force on Ice Island near Greenland. He worked for many years at Centerville Auto Body in Centerville before retiring and he then started his own computer repair business in Moulton, Iowa.He was preceded in death by: his parents; and a sister, Carolyn Starr.Frank is survived by: his son, Frank Starr, Jr of Vandaila, Michigan; daughter, Debbie Drudge and her husband, Daryl of Warsaw, Indiana; brothers, Marvin 'Dennis' Starr of Promise City, Iowa and Richard Starr of Okeene, Oklahoma; sisters, Wilda Mae Smith of Moulton, Iowa, Bettie Jean Starr of Durant, Oklahoma and LaLaVee Rockwood of Moulton, Iowa; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2008 at 11 am at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Moulton, Iowa with Rev. Jim Schweizer officiating. Burial will follow at the Oakland Cemetery west of Moulton, Iowa.
