Francis ""Keith"" McFall's Obituary
Francis ""Keith"" McFall, age 90, of Marshalltown, Iowa, formerly of Centerville, Iowa, passed away Sunday, August 24, 2014 at the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown, Iowa.
Keith was born March 28, 1924 to Alfred Raymond and Mabel Katherine (Steffey) McFall in Centerville, Iowa. He graduated from Centerville High School.
Keith enlisted in the United States Army on April 27, 1943. He served his country honorably during World War II. Keith received the following decorations and citations for his bravery: 2 Overseas Service Bars, the American Campaign Medal, the European African Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon with 3 Bronze Battle Stars, the Good Conduct Medal and the World War II Victory Medal. He was honorably discharged from the Army on February 2, 1946.
He is survived by a sister, Norma Berg of South Beloit, Illinois; a niece, Kathy (Richard) Vogel of Beloit, Wisconsin; a nephew, Stuart (Lisa) Berg of Roscoe, Illinois; great nieces, Jessica and Abigail Vogel; and a great nephew, Johnathon Berg.
Keith was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother-in-law, Lawrence Berg.
Graveside funeral services with full military honors will be held at 2 PM, Sunday, August 31, 2014 at Mt. Ararat Cemetery east of Centerville with Reverend Jeremy McElvain officiating.
