I have so many wonderful memories of time with grandma. From times in their home on Flower street in Phoenix, to living with her and grandpa in Wakenda, Missouri, and waking up to the two of them by my bedside after a bad car accident. The list goes on. One of my fondest memories though is from taking a bus to visit them in Port Mansfield, Texas over Christmas when I was in my twenties. They took me on the first visit to Mexico that I can remember,. The drive there and back, grandpa driving like a maniac to make us laugh. The visit included playing games with grandma (she loved cards and Yahtzee) and making grandpa chuckle when us girls would get excited about rolling a Yahtzee. We ate, we talked, we cried, we laughed and most of all, we loved! Thank you for the moments you gave me grandma! I will forever miss you! ~Carrie Lee
