Floyd Bernard Swarts' Obituary
Floyd Bernard Swarts of Moulton passed away at his home Monday, November 21, 2022 with his loving wife Connie by his side.
Floyd was born June 11, 1942 south of Moulton to Bernard and Ada (Peckham) Swarts. He graduated from Moulton-Udell School. He then went on to serve in the Army during the Vietnam war as a medic for 3 years.
Floyd married the love of his life Connie Houser June 14, 1969 and to this union came their children; Paul, Kirk and Rochelle. He worked many years at the Norfolk Southern Railroad.
Floyd was a lifelong farmer who enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time.
Floyd is survived by his wife Connie Swarts, children; Paul (Chandra) Swarts, Kirk (Abby) Swarts, Rochelle Swarts. Grandchildren; Steven (Mikayla), Tanner (Shayla), JayLeigh, Cameron, Claire, Calvin and great-grandchildren Austin and Autumn. Siblings Boyd Swarts, Deloyd Swarts, Leroyd (Shelia) Swarts, Cleroyd (Kaye) Swarts and Carolene (Dave) Purvis.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters; Ilene (Richard) Sleeth, Colene (Gordon) Selvy, Arlene (Ed) DeCook and brother Cloyd (Colleen) Swarts.
A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Thomas Funeral Home in Centerville with Military rites immediately after the service. Visitation will take place from 2-3 pm on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Thomas Funeral Home in Centerville.
