Floyd Duane Robb's Obituary
Floyd Robb, 75 of Centerville, passed away on October 17, 2021 at Mercy One Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa.
Floyd was born on August 29, 1946 to Raymond Floyd and Halena (Ross) Robb in Centerville, Iowa. Floyd graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in Des Moines. Floyd served in the Vietnam War. He married Joyce Rodgers and together, they welcomed four children: Kimberly, Kristina, Karen, and Michael. The couple later divorced. He later married Ruth Worthington, who became his longtime companion.
Floyd enjoyed fishing and camping, making wood crafts for family and friends. He loved working on his uncle's farm. Floyd was highly skilled/self taught in carpentry, radio and television electronics, and auto mechanics. Floyd was a kind and caring person, and always willing to help others. He was always ready for a cup of coffee and a good conversation.
Floyd is survived by his daughters Kimberly Medina, Kristina Mattly (Aaron), and Karen Robb, son Michael Robb (Kelly), 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, brothers Johnnie Robb and Harold Dean Robb, sisters Cheryl Fry and Ellen O'Hollearn, many nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was proceeded in death by his parents Raymond and Halena (Ross) Robb, and brothers John Robb, Lee Robb, Wayne Robb, Calvin Robb, Larry Robb, and grandson Baby Tony, and his companion Ruth Robb.
A graveside service for Floyd will be held at the White Cemetery, west of Cincinnati, on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 11:00 AM with Larry Bettis officiating. Memorials can be given to the family and condolences may be shared at www.thomasfh.com and www.facebook.com/thomasfuneralhome.
