Floyd Richard Brooks AKA "Buggy" was born July 4, 1963 at the university of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, Ia. to Helena Brooks, He was a resident of Centerville, Ia. over 50 years. He was educated in the Centerville Iowa school system. He was a member of Second Baptist church, and employed in the construction industry due to health took early retirement. In his leisure he enjoyed fishing, and working on vehicles, watching westerns and visiting with friends and family.
He departed this earth May 31, 2023 at the age of 59 with his father beside him. Preceding him in death were his Maternal and Paternal grandparents. He leaves to cherish his memory are Parents Allen and Helena Cooper Centerville, Ia., Siblings Cassandra Cooper Davenport, Ia., Tracy Cooper Dallas, Tx. and Allen Cooper Jr. Centerville, Ia. Children Tyler Brooks Knoxville, Ia., Iesha Ridding Des Moines, Ia., and Deke Brooks Centerville, Ia. Grandchildren Hayden Jones New Sharon, Ia., Zane Brooks Knoxville, Ia. and Ermiaz Ridding Des Moines, Ia. One Niece Ladesha Williams Dallas, Tx. Companion Stacy Agnew Centerville, Ia. And a host of Cousins, other relatives and friends.
Per wishes, cremation has been accorded. A celebration of life to be announced.
