Florene Wells' Obituary
Florene Wells, age 85, of Centerville passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at Mercy Medical Center in Centerville.
Florene was born September 9, 1922, the daughter of John and Ellen Morrow in Exline, Iowa. She married Clifford Wells on February 25, 1938, in Exline. Clifford preceded her in death on January 16, 1998. Florene enjoyed spending time with her family.
Florene is survived by two sons, John Wells of Cincinnati, Iowa, and Eli Wells of Centerville; four daughters, Kathy Hill of Centerville, Emma Mericle of Centerville, Rosalie Stevens of Centerville, and Janie Myers of Mendota, Missouri; twenty six grandchildren; thirty one great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren; and two sisters, Lorene and Hazel. Florene was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Clifford; a daughter, Barbara Garr; a son Jerry Wells; three grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
A private graveside service was held 2 PM, Thursday, October 4, 2007 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Cincinnati, Iowa with Pastor Donnel Logsdon officiating. A memorial has been established to the family of Florene Wells and may be left at or mailed to the Thomas Lange Funeral Home, 1900 S. 18t St., Centerville, Iowa 52544.
