Florence Davis' Obituary
Florence (Micetich) Davis, age 70 of Centerville died Tuesday afternoon, June1, 2004 at Mercy Medical Center, Centerville.
Florence was born November 20, 1933 in Numa, Iowa, daughter of Phillip Micetich and Frances Kopatich Micetich. Florence married Clifford Davis in Centerville, Iowa in 1953, and he survives. When she was young she worked at McGraw Edison, but had spent many years working for St. Joseph Mercy Hospital and retired in 2000 from Mercy Medical Center. Florence was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Centerville.
Surviving are her husband Clifford, five children James Davis and his wife Megan of Anchorage, Alaska, Gregory Davis and his wife Pat of Palmer, Alaska, Larry Davis of Numa, Iowa, Terry Davis and his wife Peggy of Mystic, Iowa, Brian and his wife Deb of Knoxville, Iowa; 14 grand children; 2 great grandchildren, 8 brothers and sisters Carl Micetich of Numa, IA, Edward Micetich and his wife Nita of Buckeye, AZ, Delores Smith of Marshalltown, Phyllis Tracy of Centerville, Iowa, Marcella Doggett and her husband Tom of New London, Iowa, Marge Stickler and her husband Rollie of Numa, Iowa, Butch Micetich of Numa, Iowa, and Tom Micetich of Numa, Iowa.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10:30 Friday morning June 4, 2004 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Fr. Joe Miller C.PP.S. officiating. Friends may call all day Thursday with the family present from 6-8 PM at the Funeral home. A Prayer Service will be held at 7:30PM at the Thomas Lange Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Numa Cemetery, Numa. A memorial has been established to St. Mary's catholic Church and may be left or mailed to the Thomas Lange Funeral Home, PO Box 6, Centerville, Iowa 52544.
