Evelyn Marie Lee's Obituary
Evelyn Marie Lee, age 80, of Moulton, Iowa, died Thursday, October 30, 2003, at her home in Moulton, Iowa. She was born the daughter of Ross and Helen (Young) Fox on August 7, 1923 in Moulton, Iowa. She graduated from the Moulton High School.Evelyn was united in marriage to Claude Lee on July 28, 1945 in Ottumwa, Iowa. She taught in rural county schools, worked at the Moulton Cafe for many years, worked at the Moulton Tribune, Elmer Wood Co. and the Moulton Dairy Bar before retiring to become a full-time homemaker. She was a member of the Moulton Christian Church.Evelyn was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Claude Lee on March 5, 1997; one daughter, Sheri Lynn Lee; two granddaughters, Tina Lee and Katelyn Daniels; one brother, Neal Fox and one sister, Audrey Knerr.Surviving family members include: three daughters, Linda Lee and her special friend, Donnie Vanderlinden of Moulton, Iowa, Kay Cox of Enid, Oklahoma and Leann Daniels and her husband, Frank of Moulton, Iowa; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 3, 2003 at 1:30 pm at the Moulton Christian Church in Moulton, Iowa with Rev. Reg Higginbottom officiating.
